Hi y'all. The new art is up in the gallery section.

{june 17, 2005}

I'm in the process of putting up all the artwork from the "i might die" show, so please be patient.

bodnar alive

whatever.

I have a bunch of projects in the works, but sadly I can't talk about them just yet. I'll fill everyone in as the summer rolls on.

***Mark your calendars!***

Mark Bodnar gallery show! I want everyone to be there, so please do. My artwork will be on display at the Mahan Gallery in Columbus, OH. It will run from April 2nd-23rd. The opening reception is on April 2nd, from 6-10pm. Check out mahangallery.com for more information.

Take a look at the Feb 05 issue of National Geographic Adventure for several illustrations of mine including a self portrait!

I'll be putting the paintings from the gallery show online sometime around the opening, so please check back for more goodies later.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Subcultures show in Portland! There's a wonderful article about us misfit artists. Please go here to read it. It's still up through the end of the month so if you didn't see it, you should! We'll be putting photos from the show up on the sheetghosts site. I'm going to paint now...

{october 30, 2004}

***Gallery Show***

The Sheetghosts will be part of Subcultures: The Art of the Action Figure exhibition which will be held at the Art Institute of Portland. This show will be held from December 2, 2004 - January 31, 2005. You can go to the gallery's website for more information on this event. Trevor and I will have artwork on display, and we'll be producing another limited run of the figures, all available for purchase at the gallery. We'll also be attending the opening reception on December 2nd, after which there'll be a Jr. Sheetfolders of America sheetfolding meeting. You can check out even more info on this swell show at Subcultures Design.

In case you're wondering why the Sheetghosts website isn't up yet...it's a secret. Just stay tuned.

{september 24, 2004}

I just put some more artwork up, so go check it out in the artwork section! Good news is on the way: There's some major things in the works for the Sheetghosts. We're sorting out a deal with a toy company right now, and that's part of the reason that the website isn't up yet...but it's almost up. There's a strong possibility that sheetghosts will be part of a gallery show in Portland, OR and I'll let you know more as it comes along. Thank You to all of you who bought sheetghosts in San Diego!

I did some more illustrations for The New York Times and National Geographic Adventure.

{july 6, 2004}

Okay! First off...I'll be updating my site more regularly, so please check back often for more art and more updates.

AW SHEET!***It's the SHEETGHOSTS***

Yes, they're almost here.

What are Sheetghosts?

Sheetghosts are the creation of Trevor Zammit and myself. They're a line of collectible ghost figures that we'll be launching at this year's San Diego Comic-Con( july 22-25). The first two figures that we'll be releasing will be Burgess & Ollie. If you're at the Comic-Con, then you're in luck! You'll be able to get the very limited San Diego versions of these characters. We'll be set up at the Plan B Toys booth.

For the rest of you...Hold on, hold on. If you're not heading out to San Diego, then there's a way that you can get your own Sheetghosts!

Check out Sheetghosts.com for all the sheet you need to know. We'll have the site operating towards the end of this month. Probably. You'll be able to purchase directly from the site, or see a list of stores where you can pick them up at. Remember that all of these figures will have a limited production run, so if you want to be on the mailing list so we can notify you when the site launches, click here. Just type ghost list in the subject line.

**Other News**

Gallery Show!

Yep. I'll be having a exhibition of my artwork at the Mahan Gallery in April, 2005! Please check back later for more information.

Also, I'll have a piece in National Geographic Adventure: so keep on the lookout!

{april 9, 2004}

Check out the next issue of Resonance for a picture I did of George Tabb!

{april 8, 2004}

Anyway...I'l be putting up a website later this year with toy designer Trevor Zammit. We've been designing a line of toys and other merchandise so that all you folks can have playtime instead of lunch. Everything will be offered on our site and if you're cool, there might be a store nearby where you can knuckle-up.
